Why HOAs Need Professional Management
October 17, 2016Keeping Pets Safe in the Winter
December 16, 2016Are you getting ready to make changes to the outside of your house? Do you want to build a new shed, or change the landscaping or fence in your backyard? Before you break out the power tools, make sure you submit your plans for approval by our association’s architectural committee.
The architectural committee looks out for the entire community. The committee’s job is ensure that the size and style of the building project, the materials used, and the overall look of your new structure fit the association’s design requirements. You would not like your neighbors painting pink polka dots on their houses! That’s why keeping your community looking cohesive is important to increasing property values. Architectural planning prevents any one structure from standing out. If your building project does not have approval you would have to remove all unapproved changes at the your own expense – a costly process. So save yourself money and headaches by getting architectural committee approval before building your structure.
When beginning your new project send your plans to the architectural committee for approval. Also, if the design of your project changes midway through building, contact the architectural committee for approval of the changes. Whether your project is brand new or in the process of changes to the plans, the committee will review your plans and let you know what your options are. We appreciate all the hard work residents do to make their homes and this community beautiful. Help us keep your association looking great by using the architectural committee approval for all of your building projects.
